Guild Wars 2 mystic salvage kit recipe

If you do a lot of salvaging, then now is the time to buy the Mystic Forge Stones for your Mystic Salvage Kits.

If you can afford to spend roughly seven gold on the 10 Mystic Forge Stone’s deal, you will save 9 silver per stone.

We also covered salvaging as part of our Guild Wars 2 Gold Guide, so if you haven’t already checked it out then.. you probably should. (Updates soon™)

Should you buy 5 stones or 10?

5 Stones for 200 gems ( 250 Mystic Salvage Kits + 2 spare stones)

  • 200 gems = 4 gold
  • 4 gold / 5 Stones
  • = 80 silver per stone
  • 3 Salvage Kits = 26s 24c
  • 0.80 x 3 + 0.2624 = 2.6624

250 Mystic Salvage kits = 2 gold, 66 silver & 24 copper

10 Stones for 360 gems ( 750 Mystic Salvage Kits + 1 spare stone)

  • 360 gems = 7 gold, 12 silver
  • 7.12 gold / 10 stones
  • = 71 silver, 20 copper per  stone
  • 3 Salvage Kits = 26s 24c
  • 0.712 x 3 + 0.2624 = 2.3884

250 Mystic salvage Kits =  2 gold, 38 silver & 84 Copper

  1. Buying 10 Master Salvage kits is much cheaper. Has the exact same stats as Mystic salvage kits but for 250 uses it only costs 1g53s60c.

Haven’t done the math but it might be better to convert your gems to gold and buy 10 master kits instead of the stones? Not sure though, WORK IT OUT FIRST BEFORE TAKING M WORD FOR IT!
